Join Geisinger’s nationally recognized Hospital Medicine team at Geisinger Community Medical Center (GCMC) in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative Hospital Medicine team at Geisinger Community Medical Center, a 293-bed tertiary care hospital and Level II Trauma Center serving northeastern Pennsylvania. GCMC Practice Profile describes GCMC as a high-acuity facility offering extensive specialty support and a team-based approach to patient care.
Job Duties
- Hospital Medicine practice within a well-established, physician-led program.
- Collaborative multidisciplinary team including physicians, advanced practitioners, specialists, nursing staff, residents, and support personnel.
- Strong specialty support across multiple service lines.
- Fully integrated Epic electronic health record

Schedule and Shift
- Full-time schedule consisting of approximately 14 shifts per month
- 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM day shifts
- Block scheduling designed to support work-life balance

Position Details
- Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Certification and licensure (or eligibility) in Pennsylvania
- Hospital Medicine or inpatient experience preferred
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
