Job Description
Well-established department seeks to replace a retired GI-Hospitalist. Enjoy an experienced APP team and subspecialty support staff. Flexible work schedule offers several shift options: either 7 days on w/7 off or 14 days on w/14 off.
Duties include overseeing inpatient &/or ED consults, manage GI-related admissions, provide comprehensive evaluation and management of hospitalized adult/geriatric patients with acute and complex gastrointestinal conditions. There are on-call responsibilities during block scheduling. Opportunity for advanced GI work (EUS & ERCP), but not required.
Compensation includes a generous salary, incentives, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, vacation/CME, comprehensive benefits, retirement and malpractice coverage. Servicing a community of approximately 150K residents, the area offers a variety of school options, a vibrant downtown, affordable living and easy access to Flint and surrounding communities.
