Job Details: Job Location: BMH Danville Clinic - Danville, WV, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Advanced Practice Provider Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Full Time Position Overview Boone Memorial Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our outpatient healthcare team.

The position is open to qualified Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants who are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. The Advanced Practice Provider will primarily work at the BMH Danville Clinic and may provide coverage at other BMH locations as needed. The APP will provide comprehensive care to patients with acute and chronic medical conditions while working collaboratively with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.

Responsibilities The Advanced Practice Provider Will

Provide comprehensive primary care to patients in an outpatient setting. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests. Refer patients to specialists when medically appropriate.

Prescribe medications and treatment regimens within the scope of practice. Perform outpatient procedures appropriate to education, training, and experience. Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, lifestyle changes, nutrition, and preventative care.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.

Maintain compliance with BMH policies, quality standards, infection control requirements, and applicable laws and regulations. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable privacy requirements.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, Medical Staff activities, and committee meetings as required. Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures as needed.

Qualifications Required

Current, active West Virginia license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant. Board certification appropriate to the practitioner's area of practice. Current ACLS and PALS certifications. Minimum of one year of experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Provider.

Ability to maintain all required licenses, certifications, and professional credentials. Requirements

The position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform activities including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, climbing stairs, and grasping.
