This on-site, contract position presents a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant medical practice environment, contributing to high-quality patient care.
In this role, you'll be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing exceptional primary and acute medical care to patients. As a Locum NP or PA, you'll manage a variety of cases, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff, and play a crucial role in improving patient outcomes. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of patients in a hospitalist setting
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy
- Conduct physical exams and interpret diagnostic tests
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients on health management and preventive care
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant program
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Experience in internal medicine or hospitalist settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced cardio life support (ACLS) certification is a plus
