Key Responsibilities

The physical therapist will evaluate and treat patients to restore physical functioning by developing and implementing personalized care plans. They are also responsible for documenting progress, supervising physical therapist assistants, and participating in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a degree from an accredited physical therapy program, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) required for those licensed from 2016 onwards. A valid state physical therapist license is mandatory, and 1-2 years of internship or apprenticeship experience is preferred.
