Physical Therapist- Outpatient

Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist confirms physician referrals, performs patient assessments, and implements individualized treatment programs based on age and diagnosis, coordinating care with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Responsibilities also include documenting patient records, supervising PTAs, and participating in departmental activities like in-services and program development.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy, holding either a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or a Master's or Doctorate degree. Licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia and AHA BLS certification within six months of employment are mandatory.
