About the Role

Join Kindred Healthcare as a Speech Language Pathologist – PRN in United States. Hours: PRN Join St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho—where nationally recognized quality meets small-town heart.

Key Responsibilities

  • Based upon the treatment diagnosis of the patient, OBJECTIVELY AND QUANTIFIABLY assesses a baseline level of communication and swallowing function for each patient referred.
  • Such evaluations should include baseline assessment of pertinent medical and onset history, articulation, voice, fluency, language, swallowing and cognition.
  • This baseline information should be sufficient to adequately form the basis of treatment outcome goals.
  • Based upon the initial assessment of the patient, identify communication/swallowing needs and establish appropriate treatment outcome goals.

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a current Idaho state license. Candidates must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) and BLS certification.
