Physician - Gastroenterology Hospitalist PRN

Key Responsibilities

This role involves practicing compassionate, patient-centered care by seeing patients in the office and performing hospital rounding, while maintaining timely and accurate medical records using E Clinical Works (ECW). The physician will also prescribe medication, recommend lifestyle changes, explain procedures and test results, consult with other doctors, and participate in tumor boards and multi-disciplinary clinics.

Licensure & Certifications

Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology, with experience levels from new graduates to experienced physicians being considered. Essential requirements include knowledge of computer systems like ECW and Cerner, the ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes physically demanding environment, and strong competencies in communication, emotional intelligence, and integrity.
