Job Description

Biograph members undergo one of the most complete diagnostic workups available anywhere: advanced imaging, cardio-metabolic profiling, genetic testing, performance testing, continuous glucose and sleep monitoring. These are woven together into a Comprehensive Results Review, a physician-led conversation about a member's whole health.

That conversation is this role. You will deliver the reviews to members across the country, working from the analysis prepared by the clinic team and conduct their additional scheduled consultations through the year. This is a remote, telemedicine-based role for a physician with exceptional communication skills and a strong foundation in primary care.

What You Will Do

You will be trained on how the Biograph medical team integrates and interprets our findings in order to deliver results in a personalized and easy to understand manner. You will have the support of clinic physicians, nutritionists, exercise physiologists, sleep specialists and others, along with our AI copilot, internally built to summarize extensive data through the lens of the Biograph approach.

Deliver the Member's Scheduled Consults

Comprehensive Results Review, after the member's on-site assessment day, working along with the clinic physician and their prepared analysis. Review and take clinical ownership of the assessment you deliver.

Midyear Review for Black-tier members and Annual Review for all members, noting what changed, what the plan achieved and what to adjust.

Own member communications across the journey, including interval questions, lab analysis, assessment analysis and follow-up arising from your consults.

Communicate risk stratification, incidental findings and genuine uncertainty clearly and translate them into a plan the member can act on.

Be apprised of at-home async results–sleep studies read by sleep physicians, CGM interpreted by nutrition and–reflect them in the plan.

Scheduling. Consults are coordinated centrally across markets to balance load.

Prescribe

Serve as prescriber of record for members on your panel for a defined set of medications. This is a licensure requirement: remote encounters require the prescribing physician to be licensed where the member is located.

Work Across the Care Team

  • Coordinate with nutrition and exercise physiology.
  • Hand off clearly with the clinic team in both directions: their prepared analysis and assessment-day context coming in, your plan and updates going back to the team for the member’s next assessment.
  • Partner with radiology, cardiology and other specialists on findings that need their input.

Maintain Standards

Participate in case review and consult quality review with the Biograph clinical quality team.

Meet regularly with your medical director on onboarding, clinical performance, development and case discussion.

Contribute to protocol development and to improving the Biograph Method, particularly on results communication.

Keep accurate, detailed records in the EMR, fully compliant with current healthcare regulations and documentation standards.

  • Maintain licensure and any required registrations across all states covered by your panel.
  • Stay current on the literature and help the team distinguish durable findings from noise.

Clinical escalation. Protocol exceptions, difficult findings and member issues route to your medical director.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Board certified; primary care background strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of practice beyond residency.

Current unrestricted licenses in CA, NY, TX, FL, NJ, WA, CO. Ideally also PA, NV, OH, OR, UT, VA, CT, MA, IL, GA, have or be eligible for IMLC fast-track licensure. Biograph sponsors and covers licensure.

  • Hold a DEA registration or be willing to obtain one.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly around risk, uncertainty and delivering complex findings in a single conversation.
  • Demonstrated comfort practicing via telemedicine.
  • Fluency with EHR systems, HIPAA requirements and a modern software stack; comfort adopting new clinical and data tools quickly.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with colleagues you will rarely meet in person.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, scaling startup environment.

Exceptional Looks Like

  • Experience prescribing nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress reduction interventions.
  • Experience in executive health, concierge or preventive medicine.
  • A track record of delivering difficult or ambiguous findings well.
  • Comfort with CGM and wearable-derived data.
  • Existing licenses across a broad multi-state footprint.
  • Growth-stage startup experience.

Additional Requirements

  • Full time employee, Monday through Friday, scheduled consult blocks.
  • No night, weekend or holiday shifts.
