Key Responsibilities

The Psychiatric Technician will observe, report, and document changes in patient behavior to the charge nurse while interacting therapeutically with patients. Responsibilities also include assisting in and participating in various group activities and ensuring patient safety through regular rounds.

Requirements

A High School Diploma or GED is required, though a Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with relevant patient care experience in a hospital setting being preferred. Candidates must possess good therapeutic communication skills and obtain CPI certification within 90 days of hire, along with current BLS certification.
