Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to determine medication needs

Document patient assessments and interactions in the electronic health record (EHR)

Prescribe and manage pharmacologic treatments, including controlled substances

Monitor patient progress and adjust medications as necessary

Requirements

Must have an active driver's license within the state of Louisiana

Willing to work in a community based setting

certified or board

eligible psychiatrist, a medical psychologist, or an advance practice registered nurse (APRN) with a specialty in adult mental health in the state of Louisiana
