Key Responsibilities

  • Providers are expected to rotate between the Medical ICU and the FC3 service.
  • Providers may be deployed to other ICUs (Neuro Critical Care and Trauma ICU) based on need
  • Admit new patients (e. g., write admission notes, develop initial assessments/plans, place admission orders in EMR)
  • Provide frontline coverage for admitted patients (e. g., “cross

Requirements

  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • AND Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License with prescriptive privileges
  • AND National certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP
  • BC or AGACNP
