UW Medicine works to improve the health of the public by advancing medical knowledge while providing outstanding primary and specialty care to people throughout the WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho) region.

The PA/NP will partner with our orthopaedic surgeons on the orthopaedic oncology service at the University of Washington Medical Center and the Fred Hutch Cancer Center.

Our advanced practice providers (APPs) work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that in addition to orthopaedic surgery includes medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology including trainees, other advanced practice providers and nurses.

Our APPs provide comprehensive orthopaedic care to patients in an inpatient, outpatient and operative setting. The successful candidate will have had operative experience during their training or during their clinical practice.

Experience specifically in orthopaedics is preferred but we can train motivated and talented individuals. The position is on an annual appointment with a 12-month service period (July 1 - June 30).

Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. This position has a flexible start date in the winter or spring of 2027.
