Job Description
Join an established oral surgery practice serving Hoover and the greater Birmingham area. With decades of combined surgical experience, a broad clinical scope, and an experienced team, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding practice while caring for patients across the region.
Whether you are an experienced surgeon or nearing the end of residency, you can bring your perspective to an established practice, learn alongside experienced colleagues, and build lasting relationships with patients and referring providers. Eligible doctors can pursue an early path to partnership as they shape a long-term future in the practice.
A place to build a broad surgical practice
The practice combines established outpatient care with hospital-based treatment for facial injuries. In-office care is supported by an experienced surgical team, including certified assistants trained in IV sedation and outpatient general anesthesia. The result is a setting where doctors can focus on thoughtful surgical care and patients can feel informed and supported throughout treatment.
The clinical scope spans dental implants, wisdom teeth, bone grafting, oral pathology, sleep apnea, TMJ disorders, and corrective jaw surgery. The practice also provides TMJ arthroscopy and treats facial injuries in partnership with local hospitals—an uncommon breadth of care for a community-based specialty practice.
What You Can Build Here
A full-scope surgical mix: Care for patients across dental implants, wisdom teeth, bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, oral pathology, sleep apnea, and TMJ disorders.
Specialized TMJ care: Join a practice whose clinical scope includes TMJ arthroscopy alongside other oral and facial surgical services.
Care across settings: Balance office-based surgery with hospital-based treatment for facial injuries and trauma.
Experienced colleagues and room to grow: Work with an established surgical team, with peer support and mentorship available as you settle into the practice and develop your role.
Life in Hoover and Greater Birmingham
City energy nearby: Find Birmingham’s restaurants, live music, museums, historic theaters, and sports, then return home to Hoover’s more suburban pace.
Outdoor breaks close to home: Hike at Moss Rock Preserve, enjoy the Cahaba River, or explore Hoover’s many parks and trails.
Easy family weekends: Choose from playgrounds, community parks, Hoover Met events, and family-friendly attractions throughout the area.
A place for different seasons of life: Hoover offers family-friendly neighborhoods, while nearby Homewood, Vestavia Hills, and Mountain Brook each bring their own community feel.
A well-connected home base: Greater Birmingham combines the amenities of a growing metro with welcoming nearby communities and access to outdoor recreation.
