Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist II provides complex respiratory care, including ventilator management and medication administration, primarily in critical care areas. They are also responsible for patient education, staff development, and collaborating with healthcare teams to plan patient care.
Requirements
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree and hold an RRT certification. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP, with 0-2 years of clinical experience including at least 6 months in critical care.
