Position Overview

Starting pay range is between $100,000 - $150,000 annually with bonus potential.

Recovery Centers of America is seeking a Director of Nursing to direct, plan and coordinate service activities of our professional nursing staff and auxiliary nursing personnel at our Lighthouse facility in Mays Landing, NJ. This is a high impact role where you'll work closely with the CEO of the program and guide a team of professionals dedicated to helping individuals overcome substance use disorders and build lasting recovery.

As the Director of Nursing, You Will

• Be responsible for the 24-hour management of the Nursing Department and assuring that the daily tasks of the Nursing Department are carried out in accordance with facility policy and in compliance with State, Federal Regulations, and The Joint Commission Accreditation Standards

• Interprets facility policy and regulations to nursing personnel and ensures personnel compliance.

• Analyzes and evaluates nursing and related services to improve quality of patient care and better utilize staff time and abilities.

• Consult with CEO and Medical Director on a routine basis in support of organizational mission and vision.

• Ensures the coordination and integration of nursing services with other client care services to ensure continuity of care for each client.

• Monitor patients frequently for changes in health status after initiation of a new medication, a hospitalization or recent decline in function.

• Consult with CEO and Medical Director on a routine basis in support of organizational mission and vision.

• Interact with patients and families, clinical teams to promote individualized, person-centered and recovery-oriented treatment

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from qualified nursing school and equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred

• State Registered Nursing license required

• 7-9 years nursing experience, minimum of five years supervisory experience.

• One-year full-time experience with the management of addictions in a licensed substance use disorders treatment facility.

• Knowledge of health care, detoxification process, addiction, co-occurring disorders, DSM Criteria, and terminology.
