About the Role

Join Recovery Centers of America as a Psychiatrist – Addiction Medicine, No Call in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Addresses the underlying issues of addiction through individual therapy, group therapy, and other approved psychiatric methods.
  • Analyzes and evaluates patient data and test or examination findings to diagnose the nature and extent of mental disorder and or chemical dependency.
  • Prescribes, directs, and administers psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, behavioral disorders and/or chemical dependency including inpatient detoxification.
  • Collaborates with physicians, psychologists, counselors, social workers, psychiatric nurses and/or other professionals to discuss treatment plans and progress.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time position.
  • Night or evening shifts may be required.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree, have completed a psychiatry residency, and possess 3-5 years of experience in addiction treatment. A valid state medical license and a DEA license with an X-waiver for buprenorphine are required.
