GI General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider NP / PA

Key Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Provider assists physicians in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients, including performing physical exams and diagnostic procedures. They also manage patient care plans, document medical records, and educate patients on health habits and treatments.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and hold a valid license in the state of Georgia. Certification by the ANCC or NCCPA is required, and at least one year of direct experience in high acuity clinical specialties is preferred.
