Seneca Health Services is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center in wild, wonderful West Virginia. We provide responsible, accessible, and progressive behavioral health services. We have a wide range of professionals who are passionate about helping our clients through substance use or mental health treatment.

With four outpatient clinics and two intensive treatment locations in Greenbrier, Nicholas, Pocahontas and Webster Counties, we serve a wide population. Our services include Crisis Services, Substance Use Disorder Assistance, Mental Health Services, and Intellectual Disabilities Support.

Therapists provide behavioral health counseling through evidence-based practice to improve consumers life functioning.

HYBRID POSITION - Summersville Clinic and/or Maxwelton Clinic and remote (from home)

Master’s degree in Social Work & LICSW or Counseling & LPC required. Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Employment Fitness Determination through WVCARES and a drug screen. Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills required.

Essential Functions

1. Assess client problems by collecting and evaluating information about the client’s symptoms and functioning.

2. Develop an individual treatment strategy to address client specific issues.

3. Aid client by suggesting and exploring behavioral resolutions and discussing progress towards resolving behavioral issues.

4. Assist client in obtaining services by initiating referrals.

5. Monitor progress toward treatment strategy by evaluating and adjusting services provided, if needed.

6. Document all services in accordance with established standards; secure information by adhering to HIPAA regulations and Seneca privacy policies.

7. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; obtaining required continuing education as required by professional license; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and reviewing relevant state rules and regulations regarding the provision of services.

8. Promote the agency by ensuring an understanding of program services available for clients; by appropriately publicizing activities and accomplishments; adhering to a professional code of ethics.

9. Represent Seneca in a positive manner including maintaining a positive attitude and performing duties in a manner in accordance with Seneca’s Mission and Code of Conduct and Ethical Practices.

10. Provide crisis intervention and after Hours on-call services as required.

11. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
