Overview
Responsibilities
Ensures appropriate, safe, effective, and efficient use of medications through the application of pharmaceutical principles in order to provide optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy
License, Registration, Certification
- Current licensure (or licensure eligibility) by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy (ALBoP)*
- Parenteral licensure/eligibility*
*Permanent licenses will be required within 6 months of placement into position

- Working knowledge of applicable pharmacy operations and procedures
- Working knowledge of practice in specialty care areas
