Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce an opening for a full-time Physician Assistant to join a growing Urology team in Fort Worth, Texas. Here is your chance to be a part of a progressive urology group offering a holistic approach to patients' care offering general urology services and treatments.

Position Details

  • Full Time, Monday - Friday work schedule
  • On the campus of Texas Health Harris Fort Worth Downtown

Requirements Needed to Apply

  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Physician Assistant Certification and Texas license required
  • At least 1-year experience as a Physician Assistant preferred

The Physician Assistant (“PA”) will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times. Master's degree Physician Assistant required.

The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

The PA’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.

Key Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant will provide general urology services and treatments to patients in both clinical and hospital settings. Responsibilities include planning patient treatment, performing minor procedures, and documenting care using the EPIC EMR system.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program and hold a valid Texas license and certification. At least one year of experience as a Physician Assistant is preferred, and a Master's degree is required.
