APP (Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner) - Surgery (Night and Weekend Shifts)

Key Responsibilities

The Surgical APP conducts comprehensive physical exams, performs daily rounds, and assists in the operating room across various surgical specialties. They are responsible for developing treatment plans, performing bedside procedures, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with current NCCPA certification or equivalent. Applicants require a Connecticut State License, BLS certification, and ideally 1-3 years of surgical inpatient experience.
