Podiatrist DPM - Fellowship

Job Summary

NOMS Healthcare a multispecialty group searching for a Podiatric Physician and
Surgeon to join our Youngstown/Warren/North East Ohio Podiatry Offices. The
Podiatric Physician and Surgeon will join a cohesive physician practice with

Essential Functions

1. Perform an appropriate medical history and examination of the patient.
2. Assess patient’s Foot, Ankle & Lower Extremity condition and develop a
treatment plan.
3. Diagnose and treat disorders, diseases and injuries of the foot, ankle and
lower leg.
4. Treatment of complex diabetic foot infections in accordance with evidence –
based protocols.
5. General medical and surgical care of treating soft tissue or boney
pathology of the lower extremity.
6. Order and prescribe treatment by physical medicine and therapy.
7. Advises patients about treatments and foot care techniques to prevent
future problems.
8. Work closely with many other medical disciplines.
9. Work in external facilities such as hospitals, wound care centers, nursing
homes etc.
10. Completes all documentation and paperwork in a timely manner.

Education and Work Experience

1. Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine.
2. Current State of Ohio DPM License

Environmental/Working Conditions

Combination of exam rooms, medical offices, and operating room. Frequent
exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation,
medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.

Physical/Mental Demands

Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts
and carries items weighing up to 10 pounds. Requires corrected vision and
hearing to normal range. Requires working under stress in emergency situations
and irregular hours.
