Psychiatrist Child/Adol (Skokie)

Key Responsibilities

The psychiatrist will serve as a team leader, conducting medication management, psychiatric evaluations, creating treatment plans, and overseeing residents and fellows within a multi-disciplinary team setting. Responsibilities also include participating in meetings, managing documentation, handling emergency detentions, and coordinating care with other providers.

Requirements

Candidates must be licensed as an MD or DO specializing in psychiatry, preferably board-certified, and a graduate of an accredited medical school with successful completion of a GME residency/fellowship, including specific training for child/adolescent work if applicable. Preferred qualifications include previous hospital psychiatrist experience and leadership/supervisory experience.
