Physician

Join Department of Veterans Affairs as a Physician in Wake Island, Wake Island.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute, urgent, and routine medical care for personnel within the on-site clinic and emergency response setting.

• Deliver clinical oversight and leadership for on-site medical staff, including supervision and review of Advanced EMT or Paramedic clinical support services.

• Support clinical governance, policy adherence, and healthcare quality initiatives.

• Coordinate medical evacuations, continuity of care planning, and emergency stabilization prior to transport.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited U. S. medical school or equivalent international institution.

• Completion of residency training in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.

• Minimum 5 years of post-residency clinical practice experience in the United States.

• Current unrestricted U. S. physician license and DEA registration.
