Job Description

This is a professional position involving provision of direct patient care.
Although most activities are performed independently, clinical oversight is
required. In accordance with New Mexico regulation, 16.10.15.11, Approval of
Supervising Physicians, the supervising physician must submit written notice of
intent to supervise physician assistant on forms prescribed by the board and
these forms must be approved prior to the physician assistant beginning
employment.

Key Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant will provide direct patient care in a professional clinical setting. The role requires working under the oversight of a supervising physician in accordance with state regulations.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program and hold current New Mexico licensure. Additional requirements include DEA registration, controlled substance registration, and relevant life support certifications.
