At PPCW, the title Clinician includes Nurse Practitioners (NP), Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM), and Physician Associates (PA). What You’ll Do

As a Clinician, you’ll provide direct sexual and reproductive health care while helping patients make informed decisions about their health.

On a Typical Day, You Might

• Assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients across a range of sexual and reproductive health needs
• Provide contraceptive counseling and management
• Provide STI screening, diagnosis, and treatment
• Perform preventive and reproductive health services and procedures within your scope of practice
• Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate
• Educate patients and support informed, patient-centered decision-making
• Collaborate closely with Clinic Assistants, other Clinicians, and members of the health center team
• Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Provide inclusive, trauma-informed care grounded in cultural humility and health equity

You’ll play an important role in ensuring patients receive high-quality, affirming care in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

Schedule & Location

This is a part-time position (22.5 hours/week) at our Northeast Health Center – Family Planning in Portland, Oregon.

• Monday Tuesday Wednesday
• 11:00am–7:00pm 9:00am–5:00pm 11:00am–7:00pm
• Candidates must be able to reliably work this schedule.
• Employees may be requested or required to occasionally work other days (including weekends), hours, and locations to meet operational needs.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• What We’re Looking For

Required

• Current or eligible Oregon licensure as a Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, or Physician Associate
• Appropriate education, certification, and prescribing authority required for the applicable provider type
• Ability to provide patient-centered sexual and reproductive health care within the Clinician scope of practice
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with patients and multidisciplinary health care teams
• Commitment to providing inclusive care to patients from diverse backgrounds and communities
• Ability and willingness to learn PPCW clinical protocols, practices, and procedures

Nice to Have

• Experience providing sexual and reproductive health care

• Pay & Growth
• $54.41–$79.26/hour

Pay is based on experience and internal equity. Most new hires start toward the lower end of the range, with room to grow.

Additional Pay Opportunities

• $5,000 hiring bonus for eligible Clinician new hires
• Bilingual premium: +$1.72/hour for qualifying bilingual skills
• PPCW also offers a Clinician career pathway with opportunities to advance to Clinician II and Clinician III as you develop additional experience, expertise, and responsibilities.
