This position offers weekends off. Work with CLFC Healthcare and Communications in Christiansted, VI, United States.

Key Responsibilities

The psychiatrist will conduct mental health assessments, diagnose patients, and manage psychotropic medication within a correctional facility. They will also participate in multidisciplinary treatment teams and provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric evaluations.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, have completed a psychiatry residency, and possess at least 3 years of post-residency clinical experience. Applicants must be board-certified or board-eligible and hold or be eligible for U.S. Virgin Islands medical licensure.
