The Pain Physical Therapist provides specialized chronic-pain physical therapy and functional-restoration services to VA beneficiaries. Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating care within an interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must hold a degree from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program and possess a current, unrestricted U.S. state license. At least two years of relevant chronic-pain experience and GS-13 clinical specialist equivalency are required.
