About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate obstetric care while making a lasting impact on women and families throughout our community. As an OB Physician at Evara Health, you’ll work alongside a collaborative, patient-focused team to support women through pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond, building meaningful relationships with patients while helping create healthier beginnings for generations to come.

What You'll Do

  • Delivering Exceptional Obstetric Care: Provide comprehensive prenatal and postpartum care, monitor maternal and fetal health, assess pregnancy progression, and develop individualized care plans that support the health and well-being of both mother and baby.
  • Supporting Healthy Pregnancies and Birth Outcomes: Evaluate and manage routine and high-risk obstetric conditions within the scope of the practice, identify potential complications, and coordinate appropriate interventions to promote safe pregnancies and deliveries.
  • Promoting Maternal and Fetal Wellness: Educate patients on prenatal health, nutrition, pregnancy-related changes, warning signs, and postpartum recovery to empower them to make informed decisions throughout their pregnancy journey.
  • Improving Access to Maternal Healthcare: Make a meaningful difference by providing compassionate, culturally responsive care to underserved populations, helping reduce barriers to essential obstetric services and addressing disparities in maternal health outcomes.
  • Providing Patient-Centered Care: Build trusting relationships with patients through open communication, shared decision-making, and a commitment to understanding each patient's unique medical history, preferences, and needs.
  • Coordinating Comprehensive Care: Collaborate with primary care providers, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period.
  • Recognizing and Managing Obstetric Complications: Assess maternal and fetal concerns, respond appropriately to changes in clinical status, and coordinate timely referrals, consultations, or higher levels of care when medically indicated.
  • Advancing Postpartum Health: Support patients beyond delivery through postpartum assessments, recovery planning, education, and follow-up care that address physical well-being and the transition into motherhood.
  • Maintaining Clinical Excellence: Apply current clinical guidelines, evidence-based practices, and established standards of care to promote patient safety, quality improvement, and positive maternal and newborn outcomes.
  • Strengthening Community Health: Contribute to Evara Health's commitment to accessible healthcare by helping expand access to essential obstetric services for women and families throughout our community.
  • Upholding the Highest Standards of Care: Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation, follow applicable clinical protocols and regulatory requirements, and support a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
