Mighty Minds and Muscles Therapy & Coaching Services is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to join a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and special education teachers at our Lower Manhattan office and as an in clinic and in school provider. This is a gym where teamwork, collaboration, and interdisciplinary mentorship is valued.
Our clinic is a neurodiverse-affirming environment, and experience with ADHD and ASD is highly valued. During mentorship, you will learn sensory techniques and strategies. Our clientele also includes individuals with needs in oral motor and myofunctional development, language development, social skills, feeding, executive functioning, and articulation. As part of our team, you will work directly under the director of our speech therapy division but you will be working side-by-side with our occupational therapists in our sensory gym setting. An extensive collection of therapy supplies, games and equipment will be at your fingertips.
The Position
This role includes three days a week in a school alongside one of our OTs and the opportunity for after school sessions in our clinic in Tribeca.
Requirements
A minimum of 3+ years of experience is preferred, but the right fit is essential, and candidates with less experience, including CFs, will be considered.
Previous experience in pediatrics.
A valid NY Speech-Language Pathology License and professional liability insurance. (CCCs preferred but not necessary for consideration.)
- NYC DOE fingerprinting and clearance required prior to the start date.
- Experience working with ADHD and ASD is a plus.
- Specialty certifications and a non-traditional approach are highly preferred.

Compensation
Pay: 1099 contractor to start with pay range $50 - $75/hr (with CCCs) and is dependent on experience, contracts/locations you are willing to take and your performance. Any additional clients brought into the center will be rewarded.
