Occupational Therapist-Flex/PRN

Key Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist confirms physician referrals, performs patient assessments, and implements individualized treatment programs based on age and diagnosis, coordinating care with the healthcare team. This role also involves documenting patient care, supervising therapy assistants, and participating in departmental and professional activities.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program and be licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the Commonwealth of Virginia. AHA BLS certification is required within six months of employment, and effective interpersonal, communication, customer service, and teamwork skills are mandatory.
