Job description

Join Nemours Children's Health as a Speech Language Pathologist – Casual/Per Diem, Pediatric Inpatient in Wilmington, DE, US. Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware (formerly Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children), is hiring a Casual Speech Pathologist (SLP) to provide coverage as needed in our inpatient programs located in Wilmington, DE.

Work Schedule

  • Per Diem position.
  • Weekend coverage may be required.

Key Responsibilities

The Speech Language Pathologist provides inpatient speech and feeding evaluations, therapy, and parent education for pediatric patients. They also coordinate care with medical staff and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure effective treatment plans.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and possess a valid Delaware license along with ASHA certification. A minimum of three to six months of experience is required, with a preference for pediatric feeding and swallowing expertise.
