Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist develops and implements clinical pharmacy services while participating in multidisciplinary rounds to optimize drug therapy. They also provide education to staff, conduct medication use evaluations, and mentor pharmacy students.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a current Arizona Pharmacist license, with experience in a pharmacy practice residency or equivalent clinical setting. Preferred qualifications include a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, critical care residency, and BCPS or ACLS certifications.
