Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Cardiology & Vascular

Phoenix, AZ | Outpatient | Monday–Friday | New Grads Welcome

Join an established Cardiology and Vascular practice in Phoenix as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). This is a full-time outpatient opportunity offering a weekday schedule, strong clinical support, specialty experience, and excellent earning potential.

  • Compensation: $130,000–$180,000 base salary + bonus potential

This is an excellent opportunity for an NP or PA who wants to build or advance a career in Cardiology and Vascular Medicine while maintaining a predictable outpatient schedule.

You’ll evaluate and follow patients with cardiovascular and vascular conditions, review diagnostic testing and imaging, manage medications, provide patient education, and coordinate treatment plans and follow-up care. The patient population includes individuals with hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, venous disease, and other common cardiovascular conditions.

You’ll work closely with experienced physicians, APPs, and clinical staff in a collaborative specialty environment. New graduates are welcome, making this a strong opportunity to develop specialty knowledge and confidence with the support of an established clinical team. Experienced providers will also find an opportunity to apply their existing skills while continuing to grow within Cardiology and Vascular Medicine.

  • NP or PA with an interest in Cardiology, Vascular Medicine, or specialty outpatient care

  • Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular and vascular conditions
  • Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
  • Develop and update treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team
  • Review laboratory results, imaging, diagnostic studies, and clinical findings
  • Prescribe and manage medications within scope of practice
  • Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure evaluation and follow-up
  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, procedures, lifestyle changes, and cardiovascular risk reduction
  • Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and continuity of care
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, vascular specialists, APPs, and clinical support staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Support efficient patient flow and team-based outpatient care

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program in the United States
  • Current or eligible for Arizona NP or PA licensure
  • Current NP or PA certification, as applicable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide professional, patient-centered care
  • Preferred Background
  • 2–3 years of APP experience preferred, but not required
  • Cardiology or Vascular Medicine experience is a plus
  • Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Primary Care, Urgent Care, or other relevant clinical experience also considered
  • New graduate NPs and PAs with a strong interest in cardiovascular medicine are encouraged to apply
