Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include obtaining health histories and performing physical assessments to determine patient health status, especially for work-related exposures, injuries, or acute illness while on duty. The physician will also treat patients according to protocols and provide services for the drug and alcohol testing program as the Medical Review Officer.
Requirements
Candidates must possess an MD degree and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine, along with holding an active Florida Medical License. Prior experience in the field is considered a plus for this position.
