About the Role

Join CHEO as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Ambulatory Care, Gender Diversity Clinic - Temporary Part-time (0.3) (until March 2027) / Orthophoniste, Soins in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completes assessments of patients and performs an analysis based on objective, subjective and functional findings.
  • Establishes realistic, measurable and time limited therapy goals and develops treatment plan.
  • Ensures that speech-language therapy treatments are initiated with the informed consent of the patient or substitute decision maker in accordance with the Health Care Consent Act.
  • Provides direct treatment and/or support and teaching to informal caregivers, school personnel and other health care professionals involved.

Requirements

  • Language Pathology (Essential) Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech
  • Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) (Essential) Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a Speech
