About the Role

Join CHEO as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Ambulatory Care, Gender Diversity Clinic - Temporary Part-time (0.3) (until March 2027) / Orthophoniste, Soins in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Completes assessments of patients and performs an analysis based on objective, subjective and functional findings.

Establishes realistic, measurable and time limited therapy goals and develops treatment plan.

Ensures that speech-language therapy treatments are initiated with the informed consent of the patient or substitute decision maker in accordance with the Health Care Consent Act.

Provides direct treatment and/or support and teaching to informal caregivers, school personnel and other health care professionals involved.

Requirements

Language Pathology (Essential) Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech

Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) (Essential) Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a Speech

based visits on a daily basis is required. (Essential) Bilingualism (French/English) (Preferred) Timeline may be extended or shortened based on operational needs
