Key Responsibilities

The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide speech-language therapy services to youth receiving Gender Affirming Care within the Ambulatory Care Team, conducting clinical assessments and developing therapy plans in consultation with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include direct treatment, teaching informal caregivers, completing reassessments, and maintaining appropriate patient records according to CASLPO standards.

Requirements

Essential qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, registration with CASLPO, a minimum of two years of experience as an S-LP (preferably in pediatrics), and related experience in Gender Affirming Voice Therapy. Candidates must also possess excellent organizational skills, comfort facilitating therapeutic groups, high accuracy in medical documentation, and the ability to work independently.
