Regional Medical Director, Neuro-oncology

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the appropriate clinical and cancer leadership, including the Chair of the relevant clinical department, and the Vice Presidents of Cedars-Sinai Cancer and Neurosurgery, the Regional Medical Director of Neuro-Oncology is accountable for clinical oversight, evaluation, and the demonstration of the highest quality outcomes and delivery of care to patients with neuro-oncologic conditions.

The Regional Medical Director is charged with fostering a sense of community across the neuro-oncology program and leading physicians within the region in developing and achieving appropriate neuro-oncology-specific goals related to patient outcomes, patient safety, access, quality, and operational performance.

The Regional Medical Director will support achievement of Medical Center strategic goals through collaboration with administration, physician members, other Medical Directors, Clinical Care Vice Presidents, nursing leadership, clinical program leaders, division chiefs, and the medical staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

1. Medical Degree or equivalent degree from an accredited medical school

2. Board Certification in Neurology, Neuro-Oncology

3. Unrestricted California license as Physician

4. PCSTMC, HH, TMMC

Medical Staff Membership and meet the eligibility credentialing requirements of Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation.

5. Eligible for recommendation to the appropriate academic rank at the Medical Center’s professoriate series

6. Demonstrated leadership and understanding of regional oncology services

7. A track record of excellence patient care and administration

8. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience

9. Computer competency

The total pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.

This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.

Pay Range: $450,000 - $500,000 total cash compensation.
