What You’ll Do
The Worker’s Compensation Case Manager is responsible for coordinating and implementing all care management activities for an injured worker and the oversight of the claim process. Facilitates the injured workers’ appropriate and timely return to work.
Acts as a liaison with patient/family, employer, provider(s), insurance companies, and healthcare personnel in developing, implementing and evaluating a cost effective plan of care for the patient. The incumbent has access to confidential information and makes decisions independently.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Associate degree from accredited school of nursing, or relevant training in allied health care services. Bachelor’s degree, Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or Certified Case Manager (CCM) preferred.
- Workers’ compensation case mgt experience required; 10+yrs experience acceptable in lieu of education requirements
