What You’ll Do
The ICU/PCU/Open Heart Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for supporting the
education needs of those clinical departments. The CN I designs, develops,
implements and evaluates classroom and clinical instruction to support
onboarding, continuing education and professional development needs of nursing
and allied health professionals for the assigned department(s). The CN I works
closely with the department leader to identify education needs through
assessments, surveys, and quality data.
Required
* Graduate of Accredited Program in Nursing
* BSN
* Five years of Acute or Clinic Setting Experience
* Certification in area of Speciality within one year of hire.
* Obtaining Masters Degree within three years of hire.
Preferred
* Certification in area of Speciality - Approved through leadership
