Physician - Hospital Medicine - PRN

Key Responsibilities

The physician will serve as a Hospital Medicine provider, managing 16-18 patient encounters per day or 12-15 per night in an environment where vent management and procedures are not required, as the ER runs codes. The role is based at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center with a 22-bed open ICU.

Requirements

The position seeks Board Eligible or Certified Hospitalist physicians, though Family Medicine physicians will be considered, and a current Illinois state license is a plus. Visa candidates are encouraged to apply for this PRN opportunity.
