Technologist-Radiology Multi-Modality

Job Summary

Operates radiology equipment and performs routine diagnostic procedures as
prescribed by physicians according to established standards and practices to aid
in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Routinely works in 2 or more
specialties.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety method as
• Exercise judgement in selecting and computing settings for each patient.
• Develop an appropriate procedure/treatment plan.
• Implements procedure/treatment plan utilizing established hospital
• Completes documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and
• Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and
• Participates in hospital and departmental performance improvement activities to
• Completes assigned goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience

Experience as obtained through completion through Radiology Technology Program

Education

Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a
mechanism acceptable to ARRT.
Associates degree in related field.
