Job Description
Grider Support Services, LLC is a proud partner of Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) and is dedicated to providing high-quality patient-centered care to our community.
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our specialized Breast Health team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a board-certified breast disease specialist in a comprehensive, patient-centered setting dedicated to the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care of patients with breast conditions.
The PA will play an integral role in providing high-quality clinical care, conducting patient assessments, managing follow-up care, educating patients, and collaborating closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary breast care team.
This position offers the opportunity to develop specialized expertise in breast health while making a meaningful impact on patient care throughout the continuum of treatment.

Job Duties
- Conduct thorough history and physical exams for patients in an outpatient setting, applying critical thinking to assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending therapies based on current clinical guidelines and patient-specific factors.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed, integrating results into clinical decision-making and care plans.
- Deliver compassionate, patient- and family-centered care by providing education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and chronic disease management.
- Coordinate and manage follow-up care, respond to patient concerns between visits, and facilitate timely referrals to specialists or community resources to support comprehensive care.
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation of patient visits, care plans, and clinical outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care across the patient’s healthcare journey.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinic protocols that enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and health outcomes.
- Promote wellness and disease prevention strategies tailored to the needs and circumstances of each patient across the lifespan.
- Maintain ongoing professional development by engaging in continuing education and staying current with evidence-based practice and clinical advancements.
Benefits: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. The hiring range is between $115,000 to $138,000* per year/hour. Qualifications
Education
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant (PA) by the New York State of New York
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, required within 90 days of service
Experience
- 1-2 years experience in outpatient setting, preferred
- 1-2 years experience in breast health, breast surgery, surgical oncology, or a related specialty, preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care techniques
- Strong clinical skills in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of medical conditions
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and other healthcare technology
- Critical thinking, time management, strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to handle various clinical situations.
