Physician -Urology

Position Available: Full-Time General Urologist

We are seeking an experienced General Urologist to become part of a collaborative team that includes an established urologist and a nurse practitioner at our single-site urology practice in Brattleboro, Vermont. The facility provides comprehensive urological care for both adult and pediatric patients across outpatient and surgical settings, while promoting a supportive work-life balance.

Role Specifications

• Diagnose and manage a diverse array of urologic conditions, encompassing renal calculi, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), urinary incontinence, urinary tract infections, and various other urological disorders.

• Execute surgical procedures within modern operating rooms, ensuring thorough preoperative assessments and postoperative follow-ups.

• Provide consultations in hospital and emergency room settings, working alongside multidisciplinary specialists to offer holistic patient care.

• Collaborate closely with the existing urologist and nurse practitioner within a unified team-based practice structure.
• Participate in a manageable call rotation, committing to approximately 7 days per month.

• Educate patients and their families regarding their diagnoses, therapeutic options, and preventive measures.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation while adhering to hospital protocols, state regulations, and professional standards.

Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development efforts to remain informed about the latest advancements in urology.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or eligibility in Urology.

• Clean malpractice history.

• Submission of a recent NPDB self-query report (within the last 30 days).

• Active Vermont medical license (to be obtained prior to commencement).

• Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Urology within the United States or Canada (additional documentation required).

Certification Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology

• DEA Registration
• Active State License (Vermont)

• Completion of an accredited Urology residency program in the United States or Canada
