How You’ll Contribute
The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients with physical injuries or disabilities to improve movement, reduce pain, and restore functional independence.
- Put your physical therapy skills to work where they're really needed -evaluate a patient's condition, develop a treatment plan, and help them get better day by day. You'll also instruct the nursing staff and the patient's families on follow-through programs that build on the progress they've made.
- Provide direct patient care to restore strength, mobility, and function.
- Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
- Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements
- Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
- Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Education: Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Experience: Experience in inpatient rehab preferred.
- License: Current license to practice occupational therapy.
- Certifications: CPR certification required.

Key Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients to improve movement, reduce pain, and restore functional independence. They are responsible for developing treatment plans, providing direct care, and instructing nursing staff and families on follow-through programs.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited occupational therapy program and hold a current license to practice. CPR certification is required, and experience in inpatient rehabilitation is preferred.
