Job Description

Radiology Partners, Indiana is seeking a fellowship trained Breast Radiologist to join a private, physician-led radiology practice in Northwest Indiana. It is home to 30+ subspecialized physicians and state-of-the-art imaging services (in Tort Reform state), with convenient access to the Chicago area just 30 miles away.

We perform all modalities including MRI, CT, 3D Mammography, digital mammography, breast ultrasound, MRI-guided biopsies, Stereotactic biopsy, ultrasound core biopsy, needle localizations, Ductogram, general ultrasound, bone density and general x-ray.

There is a strong emphasis on women’s imaging inclusive of interventional breast procedures. The ideal candidate will provide direction in women’s imaging, engage with, and support the needs of referring physicians and maintain and support quality outcomes.

Franciscan Health Michigan City is a state-of-the-art hospital serving Northwest Indiana with 123 private inpatient beds, robust outpatient services, advanced diagnostic imaging equipment, and a broad range of specialty care.

The hospital offers key services including Emergency Medicine, Imaging & Radiology, Cancer Care, Heart Care, Brain & Spine, Orthopedics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Surgical Services, Pulmonary & Respiratory Medicine, and Vascular Care.

Its Diagnostic Imaging Center provides comprehensive digital imaging and interventional radiology services, including CT, MRI, PET/CT, mammography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, X-ray, bone density testing, and cancer screening for dense breast tissue.

Qualifications

Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology

  • Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
  • Eligible for Indiana medical licensure
  • Fellowship in breast imaging preferred
  • MQSA certification required
  • Candidates must be proficient in all aspects of Breast Imaging including breast procedures
