Key Responsibilities
The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat medically complex patients with communication and swallowing disorders within a multidisciplinary inpatient team. Responsibilities include managing dysphagia, assessing cognition, and determining candidacy for speaking valves in acute care settings.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current New York State licensure, and ASHA certification. Proficiency in objective swallowing assessments and experience with complex, critically ill patient populations are required.
