The physician is responsible for providing non-surgical primary care, leading an interdisciplinary team, and managing patient treatment plans. They also handle administrative duties, ensure billing compliance, and participate in the development of medical protocols.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree with a completed residency in internal or family medicine. A valid Connecticut medical license, board certification, BLS certification, and DEA registration are required.
