Job Description

We are hiring a Respiratory Therapist, OP Pulmonary Testing to support patients of all ages through specialized pulmonary diagnostic testing and respiratory care services. In this role, you will perform pulmonary function testing, assess patient respiratory status, educate patients, and collaborate with the care team to help guide treatment decisions.
What You'll Do
- Perform pulmonary diagnostic testing and respiratory care procedures according to established protocols.
- Assess patients' respiratory status and ensure testing is completed safely and accurately.
- Evaluate and document test results and patient responses in the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients and families on testing procedures, respiratory conditions, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to support quality patient care and positive outcomes.
Who You Are
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist with experience in respiratory care and patient assessment.
- Knowledge of pulmonary function testing and cardiopulmonary disorders preferred.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document patient information and test results.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications may be required based on patient population served.
