Job Description
The Division of Heart Rhythm Services at Mayo Clinic Rochester is seeking a
highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician
Associate) with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and advancing
clinical expertise in the evaluation and management of patients with complex
cardiac arrhythmias. This position offers the opportunity to work within one of
the nation’s premier Heart Rhythm practices alongside more than 20 cardiac
electrophysiologists and a collaborative team of experienced APPs, nurses, and
allied health professionals.
The role provides exposure to the full spectrum of contemporary
electrophysiology, including pre- and post-catheter ablation care, evaluation
and follow-up of patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices, and care
of adults with congenital heart disease and rhythm disorders. We are seeking an
NP or PA who embraces continued professional growth, enjoys expanding clinical
responsibilities, and is motivated to develop increasing independence through
mentorship, collaboration, and continuous professional development. The ideal
candidate will thrive in a team-based environment while contributing to the
ongoing evolution of the Heart Rhythm practice.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive HRS care across the clinic-to-procedure continuum,
including pre-procedure evaluation, post-procedure follow-up, longitudinal
arrhythmia management, and patient education.
* Support access, throughput, and continuity for high-acuity, time-intensive
arrhythmia patients.
* Monitor and manage patients receiving antiarrhythmic therapy, including
safety surveillance, response assessment, and coordination of follow-up care.
* Collaborate in the operational support of advanced electrophysiology
procedures and evolving care models, including pulsed field ablation, hybrid
ablation strategies and cardioneural ablation.
* Contribute to quality improvement, workflow optimization, practice growth,
and patient-centered care aligned with Mayo Clinic’s commitment to
comprehensive, innovative cardiovascular care.

Requirements
Requires a Master's or DNP for NPs (FNP/ANP certified) or a PA degree (NCCPA certified) with valid Minnesota licensure. Preference is given to candidates with at least one year of cardiology or electrophysiology experience.
